How to switch my dog to raw food diet?
Transitioning your pet to a raw food diet is straightforward. Our advice to new starters is to skip a meal of their current food and begin with raw the next day. Start with proteins like chicken, tripe, or turkey, gradually introducing a new protein every 5-7 days. It's best to proceed gradually and limit variety initially. The diet should include red meat, white meat, fish, bones, and offal, balanced over a two-week period. With a diverse diet, your pet will receive all necessary nutrients. We strongly advise against mixing raw with dry kibble, as this can lead to digestive issues due to different digestion rates. If your dog hesitates with the new raw food initially, remain calm. Allow them 10 minutes to eat, and if they don't, remove the meal, refrigerate it, and offer it again about 4 hours later. This process can be repeated several times a day.
